Week 32: Break time
I’ve been doing the statue since 11:30 this morning and I’m taking a break just now. Actually, I ended up photographing my oatmeal because it’s too hot to eat so I’m letting it cool for a bit…

Week 31: Puffs of Smoke
There’s a reason I ask someone else to start the grill before I use it.

Week 31: Puffs of Smoke

…is at the HS Faculty cook-off OuO awhile ago, during GIFT, we took 15-minute shifts in pairs for documenting the faculty cook-off at the THE Lab.

I took the last shift [since nobody wanted it] and I ended up going there at just the right time 8D

They were already plating their food when we arrived (which meant that there are lots of unplated food free for the picking OuO)

Weese mentioned that the Soc Sci area was the best place to take pictures since they were smack in the middle of “golden hour”

While the rest of the subject areas had fluorescent lighting and just. . semi-darkness :))

The pretty light there also made for some awesome food pictures. We weren’t allowed to touch the plated food, though (no one was =)))

Each subject area was given a certain ingredient that they had to incorporate into their recipes.

^ Soc Sci (I’m going to go ahead and guess that their ingredient is . . squash?)

edit: Weese says she thinks all the subjects got eggplant. But still . .what a squash! OuO

^ Math (I have no idea what their ingredient is supposed to be other than. . that leaf-like thing over there) They make a mean pasta. Like. . super spicy, I-can’t-believe-my-sipon’s-gone-after-one-bite spicy pasta.

^ CL (I don’t know what their ingredient is either. oops)

^ English (Weese said that theirs was eggplant)

Then there was this random basket of garlic bread that I took a picture of on the judging table. I have no idea what subject area it belongs to

It was so fun to go around and take pictures (even if it was a bit claustro) since everyone in the faculty was moving around and eating and doing whatever *u*

^ Sir Essam approves :D

Funnest 15 minutes of my day.
